I am a third year student at the University of Cincinnati studying industrial design. My interests include design research, service design, soft goods, and fashion accessories. Since growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I have become quite the urbanite, finding inspiration in the bustling chaos of urban life. My goal is to design connectors, helping people access information, institutions, their communities, and each other.
Outside of the classroom, I'm a Studio Lead for UC's chapter of Design for America, a national social-impact design group. Currently, we're working with Design in Mind to develop a design education curriculum for under-served elementary and middle school students. When I'm not at school or work, you can find me at a Habitat for Humanity build site or trying to teach myself Chinese. I am happiest when busy. In the future, I hope to work abroad and earn a master's degree in design.
